Q: What is your favorite outdoor activity?
A: I love trail running and hiking. Last month I completed a solo 5 day backpacking hike of the Foothills Trail which covers 5-6 different watersheds over its 76.2 miles.
Q: How did you get involved in this field/with FoRR?
A: In 2021, my wife Angi and I bought a house which backs up against the Reedy River. As we spent time exploring river, we saw so much trash and litter that was washed downstream or left behind from visitors. I called a few government agencies to see how we could help with the clean up and was pointed towards FORR.
Q: What is the most interesting thing you've found at a FoRR litter cleanup?
A: My wife and I host the clean up at Log Shoals Road. We have pulled a hot water heater, a 10x12 wooden deck, a beyond repair 14’ John boat and over 20+ tires from that site.
